I have a leak, now what?!
Having water in your home from a leak, an overflow, or a broken pipe can be overwhelming, but there 's no need to worry, we will help guide you through it!
Step one: Shut off your water main, and call your plumber! Your plumbing professional will determine the cause of the leak, and schedule your plumbing repair. We have several reputable plumbing contractors that we can refer you to if needed.
Step two: Call our partner company Aftershock Clean Team at (800) 773-0947 for emergency water extraction and mitigation. They will respond within 2 hours to begin the process of drying your home, which will help prevent additional damage, and comply with your insurance company's requirements. They will also help guide you through the process of reporting your claim to your insurance company, and in most cases, they will bill them directly for the emergency services they provide, so you will have no up front costs.
Step three: Call us at 352-504-7131. One of our estimators will schedule an appointment with you, to assess the damage to your home. We will then create a room by room itemized estimate for you in a format and pricing structure that your insurance company will accept, and help you submit it to your adjuster. If you already have an estimate from your adjuster, we will review it, and assist you with filing for a supplemental claim if they missed anything, including providing your adjuster with "proof of loss" photos and other data. Once you have your funds from the insurance company, we will begin the work of restoring your home, using a combination of our on staff experts and partner contractors.
